The wonky carrot

The wonky carrot

The past couple of weeks have felt a bit wonky. This carrot has a couple of legs which remind us to get back up on our feet!

After Alfie, the cyclone, with postponed classes and a closed venue, we've been picking up the pieces and resetting. We're pleased to announce our upcoming Nut Milk workshop will be held at Food Connect Shed. Food Connect Shed is a community owned food-hub in Salisbury with a commercial kitchen.

So if you would like to check out the Nut Milk workshop and the shed. You can register for the workshop here.

Unfortunately this particular carrot did hit the chopping board. But it was for a good cause. It was used in the making our Master Recipe - Spaghetti Bolognese. Master recipes are versatile and good for frequent use. You can check out this recipe here.

One of the benefits of sourcing from local farmers is interestingly shaped produce, like the carrot pictured above. Heart shaped potatoes are a heartwarming find, and check out this five headed strawberry.

Enjoy!
